About Our Pastor
Pastor Chris Davies ministry began in
1972 when he was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit
while serving in the USAF during the Vietnam War. After
being honorably discharged from the USAF, he completed
pastoral training at the institute of New Life and was
sent by the Foursquare Church as Foursquare Missionary
to England where he pioneered 3 churches. During his 17
years of ministry in England, he became the National
Leader of his organization and helped initiate the first
European Conference located in the Netherlands. Pastor
Chris preached all over Europe and in many parts of
Africa and Australia. He moved to Australia in 1990,
traveling from there worldwide to some 40-50 nations to
preach the Gospel.
Pastor Chris moved to Hong Kong in 1995, where he
pioneered a church located in the Central Financial
District on Hong Kong Island. He earned the respect of
some of the top leaders of the 3 Self Church and of the
Underground Churches in China. As a result of the Lord's
intervention with words of prophetic wisdom and
knowledge and prophetic visions, countless people came
to the Lord impacting large areas of China.

After spending time in 2002 in the Philippines, Pastor
Chris and his family returned to the USA where he
continued to travel extensively worldwide as a prophetic
healing evangelist, bringing revival and encouragement
to many.
Pastor Chris has been ministering in the Albany area and
the Willamette Valley since October 2008. His passion
is for people and to see those who have been scattered
and who are lost brought back into the Kingdom of God
and established in the faith. He sees Times of
Refreshing Ministries as an end time ministry and part of
that
ministry is to prepare the people for the imminent
return of the Lord Jesus. Pastor Chris
continues to inspire, mentor and guide a new generation
of leaders and to build the Kingdom of God as he helps
God's people chart a course for their lives and their
destinies.
What to Expect
Times of Refreshing
Ministries is a Pentecostal ministry which means we embrace the
spiritual outpouring and empowerment known as the baptism with
the Holy Spirit. Because this outpouring is so similar to the
experience of the early Christians on the day of Pentecost, it
is called a Pentecostal experience, an enrichment of the
Christian life through the power of the Holy Spirit that
empowers believers to be effective witnesses of Christ and to
walk in victory over sin. We believe that the Lord is still able
and willing to heal both our spirit and our body. You will
find many personal testimonies of His healing power bearing
witness to this reality in our
fellowship.
We believe true, heartfelt worship brings us into the very
presence of the Living God and that it is a sweet fragrance to
Him. For this reason, we:
- Sing
Ephesians 5:18-19, Colossians 3:16
- Stand to Sing 2 Chronicles 20:19, Revelation 5:11-12
- Clap our Hands and Shout Psalm 47:1, Isaiah 55:12
- Lift our Hands Psalm 134:2, 1 Timothy 2:8
- Have Audible Praise to God Psalm 32:11, Revelation
19:1,6
- Have Freedom in Worship John 4:23-24
- Speak and Sing in Tongues 1 Corinthians 14:14-15
- Speak and Interpret Tongues 1 Corinthians 14:39, 1

- Wave Banners Psalm 60:4
What We Believe
Scripture
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
God
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons;
namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the
Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin
Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the
dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand
of the Father as the Intercessor.
Salvation By Grace Through Faith
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of
God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and
necessary for forgiveness of sins. That justification,
regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the
blood of Jesus Christ.
Sanctification
We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth,
through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by
the Holy Ghost.
Holiness
We believe holiness to be God's standard of living for His
people.
Baptism with the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a
clean heart. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives
utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism
with the Holy Ghost.
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent
should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost.
Divine Healing
We believe divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
Lord's Supper & Foot Washing
We believe in the Lords Supper and washing of the saints' feet.
Premillennial Second Coming
We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First,
to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living
saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a
thousand years.
Resurrection, Eternal Life & Eternal Judgment
We believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the
righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
Practical Commitments
Spiritual Example
We will demonstrate our commitment to Christ
through our loyalty to God, our
commitment to His people and
to the work of Christ as good stewards.
Moral Purity
We will engage in those activities which glorify God in our body
and which avoid the fulfillment of the lust of the flesh. We
will read, watch and listen to those things which are of
positive benefit to our spiritual well-being.
Personal Integrity
We will live in a manner that inspires trust and confidence,
bearing the fruit of the Spirit and seeking to manifest the
character of Christ in all our behavior.
Family Responsibility
We will give priority to fulfilling family responsibilities, to
preserving the sanctity of marriage and to maintaining divine
order in the home.
Behavioral Temperance
We will practice temperance in behavior and will abstain from
activities and attitudes which are offensive to our fellowman or
which lead to addiction or enslavement.
Modest Appearance
We will demonstrate the scriptural principle of
modesty by appearing and dressing in a manner that will not
cause a fellow brother or sister to fall into sin through lust.
Social Obligation
We will strive to fulfill our obligations to society
by being good citizens, by correcting social injustices, and by
protecting the sanctity of life.
